The distance of the object from the radar is determined by observing the time taken by the radio waves to return.

Some radar also consists of a receiver, as these radars are the sophisticated ones. For the working part, this radar works only if there is a radio transmitter. There are various signals that are transferred by the transmitter. These signals are known by the name jamming signals. These signals are mainly used for the purpose of mixing the sound in the guns used by the police.

In the detectors that are manufactured these days have the laser lights. The lidar is used difficult to use it due to the concentration problem. For this particular reason, this speeders use a device named as the laser jammer. The function of the laser jammer is the same as that of the jammer known as the radar jammer.

There are many different systems involved in finding the radar. But most of this system has the problem that they are responsible in providing protection to the radars.
