Finding Parts to Modify your Atv

Finding parts to modify your ATV

ATV racing is a common event these days, and it is no surprise at all that those who are involved in ATV racing are always looking for ATV parts to modify their ATVs or to improve the performance of their ATVs, or at times, to replace the parts that have worn out due to frequent racing activities. And there are many different places that you can get these ATV parts – especially from the internet.

There are lots of great websites on the internet that you provide aftermarket ATV parts that you can use to enhance the performance of your ATV such as parts like side bar protectors to graphic kits – they are all found with just a click on the mouse from the internet. With such parts, you can be sure that you are able to work on your ATV and upgrade it to what you would consider it as being suitable for your ATV racing needs.

A word of caution though, it may seem fun trying to get all those parts to enhance the performance of your ATV, but I personally feel that while you are out looking for those parts, you must also remember to get good quality parts for your ATV. There is no point buying inferior quality parts for your ATV because not only will you cause unnecessary damage to your ATV, you will also be contributing towards the unfavorable “image” that ATVs seem to be getting all the time.

If you are unsure where to go looking for the parts for your ATV, whether to enhance it or to replace the parts that you’d need for your ATV, try posting your questions at the forums of websites such as www.jackel.com or www.atvoutdoors.net.

When you do find a website that sells the ATV parts that you need, be sure to check with them if they have a return policy – just in case the part turns out to be unsuitable for your machine or if it is defective upon receiving it. However, it is always wise to tell the ATV parts dealer your intention of getting that particular part so that they will know if it is what you really need for your ATV. A knowledgeable ATV parts dealer such as www.kazumaatvparts.com will be able to tell you on the spot if what you want is what you need to get for your ATV.

There’s another point that you should always remember and that is, whenever you are dealing with an ATV parts supplier, always ensure that you are able to speak to them personally on the phone and not just through emails. It is quite a risk not to be able to talk to them personally as they may turn out to be one of those ‘fly by night’ suppliers where you have made payment for the so called ATV parts, only to find defective parts arriving at your doorstep and the supplier is nowhere to be found after that! On top of that, when you are able to have a telephone conversation with the supplier, you would be able to tell if they are genuine ones or not by the knowledge of the parts that they are selling. A supplier that does not have time to explain and listen to what their customers have to ask or say is definitely one that you should not be dealing with. If you happen to meet one who refuses to talk to you on the phone or who insists on dealing with you via email, my suggestion would be to just move on and find another ATV parts dealer that would be more than willing to deal with you over the telephone.

Temptation is great when it comes to modifying your ATV, but you don’t have to get all the stuffs that you read about or have heard of. It’s best to start little by little – this way you get to save some more money for your next purchase and you will also not end up buying parts that you do not need and regret it later. My last thought on buying parts for your ATV? Easy – be wise in your buying!

4 Wheeler Atv – Four Wheeling Tips

Author: troy marks

Taking your four-wheeler off road is one of the big reasons you no doubt bought your ATV in the first place. That feeling of being able to travel easily over very difficult terrain is why the ATV has become such a popular recreational vehicle. We don't really think about it very much but the engineering that goes into a four-wheeler is pretty phenomenal. Manufacturers that provide ATVs to the four-wheeler markets make those machines to be basically "ready for anything". They know that people who own all terrain vehicles take that title seriously and really will take that ATV onto the most difficult and hostile environments and expect them to roll over downed trees, ravines anything else they might encounter in the wild and do so with ease.

It is a good idea, however, to have some common sense about how you use your ATV and what you are going to expect it to do for you. This principle is even more important when a young person takes the controls of a four-wheeler and takes it off road. There is a lot of power in an ATV that gives it the ability to roll over brush and trees without hesitating. Pound for pound, an ATV is more powerful and takes on much greater challenges than even the conventional family car.

That power can give the inexperienced rider a sense of freedom and power that can delude the driver into thinking there is nothing this machine cannot take on. The common sense you or whoever drives your ATV must be well in touch with is that a four-wheeler is not a tank and it is possible to put it in a situation that it cannot handle. And if you get to charging through an off road environment without concern for reality or safety, the outcome can be a break down or accident that can be a disaster.

Even though your four-wheeler can do amazing things, you must know exactly what it cannot do. Only someone who has driven the ATV quite a bit and knows it well should be allowed to take it into unexplored territory. That wisdom to stop before taking that vehicle into territory that could be beyond the abilities of the ATV is the common sense that any ATV owner or operator must have.

In addition to common sense, preparation and regard for safety rules must also be second nature to ATV driver and passengers alike. Simple rules like not drinking while driving a four-wheeler, the use of seat belts and helmets and how to prepare for an outing so you have communications and first aid equipment on hand should it be needed must be a requirement for any four-wheeler driver. If you are well in touch with the rules of how to use an ATV responsibly and you are always prepared for the unexpected, you can take that powerful machine out for many adventures off road knowing that you are doing so responsibly and safely.

ATVs That Are Built For the Big Boys

Author: Che Cruz

ATVs or all terrain vehicles are powerful toys for the big boys. Although some women are inclined to ride these quad bikes but not as much as the male population. As always, the big boys are drawn to the macho wheels that these vehicles has, the sound of the motor and even the way it goes up and down when going through the rugged terrain. As these vehicles can maneuver even the most rugged of terrains, the big boys find it much more exciting. For them, the harder and the more challenging the better.

For some reason these big boys are attracted not only to the motor and the power that it yields but even to the rugged tires of and ATV. The tires are not really as big as those from the monster trucks but quad bikes' tires look the same but at a much smaller scale. But the beauty of it simply makes these boys stare and even drool. Nobody can blame them because the traction that these wheels offer are truly great sources of an adrenalin rush. Imagine running around terrains that no other vehicle can go. If a big four-wheel drive jeep gets stuck in a muddy terrain, the all-terrain vehicle can easily maneuver around it with no problem at all.

The beauty of an ATV does not only attract the male species but some females as well. Truth be told, if you are an adrenalin junkie and the sound of a vehicle running up and down rugged slopes gives you your fix then an ATV is definitely something that is worth your while. With all the different models that are available for every budget in the market you can be sure that something is definitely made for you. Polaris 4 Wheeler

When you buy your first four-wheeler, there are some priorities that make a big difference to you.  If it is style and look, you get to know what your friends have and perhaps buy that so you will be riding an ATV that is "cool".  But for many who are going to make the investment in a quality four-wheeler can be summed up in one statement.  "I want the toughest four-wheeler there is."

It is easy to list the "big names" in ATV sales, which would include Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and others that are well known.  But when it comes to buying a four-wheeler that is clearly respected as the toughest machine in the four-wheeler line, a little known name stands out.  That name is Polaris.

The Polaris ATV is a four-wheeler that has for decades been known as the real workhorse of this classification of vehicles.  It is made to be able to withstand virtually any challenge and provide strength and power to be able to take you anywhere you need to go and do the tough jobs that many other brands of ATVs simply cannot handle.

The rise of the four-wheeler in popularity started with utility users who needed to off road to accomplish tough jobs that conventional cars and trucks could not handle.  It has been in the last couple of decades that the rest of the world have discovered the recreational and sports uses of four wheelers.  But in all classifications, the Polaris stands out as an ATV that can handle any challenge whether it is a utility vehicle or one to take an adventure lover into any terrain he wants to explore.

"Going four-wheeling", appeals to sportsmen and women who love extreme sports and who want to throw themselves into whatever they are doing.  These kinds of enthusiasts expect the ATV they take into the wilderness to handle whatever they throw at it and roll right over any obstacles so they can enjoy their adventure with no fear that their ride will let them down.  Unlike some of the more well known makes of four wheelers, it is the Polaris that is known for being able to barrel right through muddy conditions, to stay on the move in snow or ice and to charge over fallen trees and other obstacles without a problem.

Another feature of the Polaris that makes it the workhorse ATV of the industry is its ability to handle a payload.  You can use a Polaris to drag brush or pull a car out of the mud.  It is that strong.  The Polaris four wheeler is equipped with large rear racks for carrying luggage, tools or whatever you need for your off road mission that day and the Polaris is capable of supporting hundreds of pounds of load in those racks.  Small wonder this is the ATV for people who need a solid and reliable piece of machinery to go where they need to go and be there with them to get the tough work, or the tough play, done.
